Iain James Furniture have perfected the skills of replicating and reproducing traditional furniture which is perfectly suitable for your bedroom, living room and dining room. A family run business which stems from the 1930’s and has been a huge favourite of our customers. We believe that every piece of antique style furniture should be made to our customer’s specific requirements. We offer endless possibilities and options which include a variety of materials and finishes. Each piece of traditional furniture in our Iain James Furniture range is carefully handmade and all the finishes are also applied by hand. Only the finest materials are used to produce this antique furniture. Each product is finished by using time honoured traditional hand polishing methods which gives the furniture a rich patina and depth of colour. In order to achieve a lighter and softer shade to resemble antiques, the wood is bleached before being polished. Each piece is finished by carefully dulling, using a 0000 wire tool and pumice powder and brush. All of the timber used to produce these eye catching pieces of furniture is sourced from environmentally friendly sustained forests.
